Jill Pearson founded Wasabi jewelry in 1992 with a collection that is both clean and strikingly beautiful. The first collection included gemstone jewelry that combined her Asian heritage with her California surroundings. However, Jill has been designing jewelry long before the introduction of the Wasabi Jewelry line as we know it today. Jill's venture began in the fourth grade when she began to play with different materials and a friend accompanied her in selling her first items door to door within her childhood neighborhood in the valley of southern California. Her line has evolved into the amazing pieces that you see today, Jill's inspiration comes from all that encompasses her life, such as art, current fashion trends, and nature. Each jewelry piece has Wasabi's signature smooth small jade bead that is reminiscent of Japanese wasabi and that pronounces her heritage and culture. The Wasabi jade bead also adds an elegant and fun touch to her collection.
